Transitalia Marathon 2022

The Transitalia Marathon is a non-competitive route in stages that combines dirt and tourism, with a focus on scenery and conviviality. Born in 2015, it has been gaining more and more popularity in motorcycle touring, soon becoming the national benchmark event for the sector. For the 2022 edition, 450 participants are counted with a sold-out in record time despite 100 more places than in 2021 and more than half of the riders coming from all over the world.

History Pill

The first Transitalia was conceived by Riccardo Taroni in 1985 as a rally race of 3 stages totaling 650 km with start and finish in the Republic of San Marino and which had its last edition in 1995

Via app, participants will also be able to navigate the tracks of the event thanks to the unique turn-by-turn navigation system that will guide them with voice commands even in the dirt sections, the latter service will require a Plus subscription (also available with trial period)

Dakar4Dakar: “Race is a medium, solidarity the end

Saturday, Sept. 24 at the FMI Hospitality - Rotonda Fellini at 7 p.m. the Dakar4Dakar project by Gioele Meoni, founder of WHIP LIVE, the app dedicated to the world of offroad two-wheelers and beyond, will be presented. An idea that has its roots in January 2001, when Fabrizio Meoni won his first Dakar and has been embraced by his son who will compete in the 2024 edition of the world's most famous offroad competition.

"Africa has given me so much, it is only right that I give something back"

The project involves fundraising through crowdfunding that will allow Gioele to purchase the bike with which to race the Dakar. The bike will then be auctioned off and the entire proceeds donated to build a school in Dakar.
